The book of Zechariah describes eight heavenly visions given to the prophet Zechariah, telling of God’s past, present, and future relationship with Israel. The book concludes with two prophetic sections describing the first and second comings of Christ. For this study, the eight visions seen by Zechariah early in his ministry have personal prophetic significance because they were given bu God to Dennis in a vision in 1980—the Vision of the Dome.

Dennis knew that he was called by God to plant a church but had no idea how to pastor a church. After revealing the details of the building, God gave Dennis the assurance that eventually he would see the completed structure as did Zerubbabel in the book of Zechariah: “And he [Dennis] shall bring forth the top stone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”’” ⁸ Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying: ⁹ “The hands of Zerubbabel [Dennis] have laid the foundation of this temple; his [Dennis’s] hands shall also finish it” (Zechariah 4:7-9a).
