Jesus walked in the full mantle of Apostle-Prophet-Teacher-Pastor-Evangelist. When He ascended, He divided that mantle into five pieces and gave the five-fold ascension gifts to men to equip the church. In Psalm 23, the Psalm of the Good Shepherd, we see all five aspects of Christ's mantle as He cares for us, the sheep of His pasture.
