Jesus walked in in the full mantle Apostle-Prophet-Pastor-Teacher-Evangelist. When He ascended on high He divided that mantle into five pieces and gave the five-fold ascension gifts to equip the church. That mantle Governs, Guides, Grounds, Guards, and Gathers. In Psalm 23 we see the Good Shepherd operates in all five aspects of Christ’s mantle, the five G’s, as He cares for us, the sheep of His pasture.
