Liberate your faith so you can receive God's promises!
As a part of humanity, we have all suffered from emotional wounds. These wounds become barriers to experiencing the fullness of God’s healing power.
What is your experience? Have you been disappointed that you didn’t get answers to some prayers? Have you been plagued by discouragement and doubt? Many believers have their faith quenched by enduring a chronic illness or experiencing “faith catastrophes” with friends or loved ones. We may continue to pray with a measure of “hope so” that really isn’t faith at all. When we lower our expectations and doubt that God will really work on our behalf, our relationship with Him suffers. God doesn’t become distant but discouraged believers often distance themselves from Him.
Toxic wounds and willpower walls are shackles forged by the soul. The soul can create “chains of bondage” that lock down our heart and quench our faith. However, Jesus says He came to “heal the brokenhearted” and “proclaim liberty to the captives” (Luke 4:18). Only by removing the soulish chains can our faith be liberated. When we believe lies, truth cannot be received until the stronghold is cast down. However, Jesus can remove walls and toxic thoughts as easily as He cleanses and heals emotional pain through forgiveness.
